The QualityNZ Group has interests in Food & Beverage, Nutraceuticals, Manufacturing, Education & Recruitment, and they soon plan to expand into the Travel industry to leverage their industry connections and networks within India and New Zealand.
QualityNZ® is driven by its desire to supply New Zealand's "finest quality products & services" to the burgeoning Indian market (& surrounding neighbours), through its unique business model.
Having established an Indian subsidiary over 10 years ago to facilitate it’s F&B business, the company focused on building a model that allowed it to export from New Zealand while remaining in control the importation and entire supply chain process within India. The unique model creates efficiency, but it also ensures product quality and direct customer relationships are maintained by the company. QualityNZ® currently provides product to India’s leading hotel chains and supplies to over 360 x 5-star hotels across 43 cities, as well as large catering companies, organised retail businesses, and e-commerce platforms.
QualityNZ® is fortunate to have high-profile former New Zealand cricketers as ambassadors and shareholders, including; Stephen Fleming, Brendon McCullum, Daniel Vettori, and Sir Richard Hadlee. Cricket is revered in India, and QualityNZ® has been able to leverage opportunities due to the positive impact of these high-profile and well-respected individuals in the Indian market. Dr Nitin Nagrale, CEO QualityNZ India & Emerging markets, leads the Indian team and his knowledge, experience, and networks within India are second to none. Nitin has been decorated by numerous hospitality organisations for his service to the industry, and he was the founder of the Hospitality Purchasing Managers forum, an organisation that has over 10,000 members across numerous countries.
QualityNZ® has offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata with their new -in-market processing centre operating from Chandigarh. QualityNZ® remains passionate about partnering with New Zealand producers wherever possible to expand exports into this burgeoning market, sharing the unique New Zealand story to ensure maximum returns to primary producers. The company has experience with sheepmeat, dairy, and a range of seafood products, and it is currently assessing numerous other partnership opportunities, including large grower groups and Māori iwi.
Over the past 20mths, QualityNZ has also started up an “Education and Recruitment” business that is run out of New Zealand by Sandeep Sharma, and has an office and staff based in India that are focused on, Student mobility, Educational leadership platforms, Recruitment, and Contracting services. Sandeep and his team have already successfully signed agreements with NZ Universities, polytechnics, and schools within India and the middle east, as well as enjoying a close association with the Bombay Stock Exchange.
QualityNZ is currently investigating the opportunity to establish a third vertical that will focus on both in-bound and out-bound Tourism. The company looks forward to working with many of its existing networks, both within NZ & India to leverage this exciting opportunity.
