Saurabh Srivastava is one of India’s leading entrepreneurs, investors and institution builders. In March last year PM Narendra presented him an Award for contribution to the Indian IT Industry and in January this year the Indian Government awarded him the Padma Shri.
He co-founded and Chaired key institutions of modern India focussed on entrepreneurship: NASSCOM; Indian Venture Capital Association; TiE Delhi-NCR; Indian Angel Network.
He founded several successful IT companies creating companies like India Bulls, India Games and Avendus. He has been involved in investing in around 100 start-ups and has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs and sits on the boards of public companies such as YES Bank, Infoedge, Lal Pathlabs, etc and has served on public boards of public and private companies in the US, UK and Singapore.
At the forefront of public service, he was on The National Innovation Council, SEBI Committee on Alternative Investment Funds, and Investment Committee of the Government’s India Fund of, Bombay Stock Exchange Hi-Tech Advisory Panel, Telecom Centre of Excellence and the National Expert Advisory Committee on Innovation, Incubation and Technology Entrepreneurship.
He is a co founder of Ashoka University, served on the Advisory Boards of Imperial College Business School, London.
